This course is designed to teach high school students web publishing and development skills. This course is also designed as a first step for students who are interested in working in a Internet web design studio or to work independently as a freelance project consultant. Learning these skills will offer students opportunities for success in career choices pertaining to web publishing and development. This course is attempting to provide students with tasks and problems similar to the ones they will experience at work. By the end of this course, the students will have learned some basic real-world web publishing skills that will allow them to grow in the future both academically and professionally.
In this class I have learned to do many things. I have learned HTML tags and how to use it on notepad to make a web site. We also learned FTP which makes it easier to put our web sites on the internet faster. We also learned how to use Dreamweaver which makes it faster to make web sites. We even used Fireworks to make banners for our web page. And we learned how to make CSS which makes web pages more organized and nice. |
